Many of the management systems provided by GPT and Marconi are operating on obsolete hardware and operating systems that are no longer supported by the original manufacturer. X2 Connect can provide upgrade options for these systems upgrading to the latest release of the X2 Connect Payphone Management System NETms.
The NETms is the latest release of the X2 CONNECT payphone management system, the change of name from OPMS was introduced in 2004 to reflect the NET range of payphones that it supports in addition to supporting all previous payphone models.
The latest versions of NETms utilises the next generation of Microsoft database product, SQL Server 2005 and operating system Windows 2003 thereby guarding against the issues of obsolescence and support. Our system hardware offerings also provides a platform with increased resiliency.

In addition to support and upgrades our engineers are available to carry out new developments for both payphones and systems. This work is essential to the ongoing operation of a payphone population with the ever changing operating environment. We offer services such as modification of software to allow acceptance of new coins, additional management system reports allowing easier management of the payphone population, and the development of new features capturing additional revenue generating opportunities. We provide a series of management services to Kiosk operators including remote monitoring of kiosk terminals, providing usage statistics, payment statistics, fault monitoring, management of content deployment, remote analysis of terminal status, fault rectification and regular health checks.
